I will be researching Stephen Hawking. I am going to research Stephen Hawking because of his overall achievement in cosmology and because he was able to overcome a disease he contracted years ago, ALS. My main questions are to do with how he is able to continue his expertise is cosmology when he is paralyzed from the head down. Stephen Hawking has completed and theorized many cosmological studies, in which he has earned numerous awards for. Another thing I would like to consider looking into is what exactly is going to happen to Stephen Hawking's research when he passes away? In my mind, this is a very important question because with the disease Stephen Hawking has; he can pass away at anytime. Not many people can comprehend the research that he has done, therefore leading to the problem of, who is going to continue his research, but even more important, is that person able to comprehend and continue his research? Since Stephen Hawking is a cosmologist, we know he studies applications within the universe such as worm holes and dark matter, however, what exactly is Stephen Hawking's main focus in his research, like, is he studying what the universe is composed of or is he research ways in which humans can benefit from the universe? I ask this because Stephen Hawking has spent much of his time and has even made documentaries on worm holes which is the theory that purposes the possibility of time travel and traveling longer distances in shorter amounts of time.
